Foot Clinics

Early detection of foot problems

Foot problems are especially common in older people, for a variety of reasons. Feet lose cushioning as they age, and the skin and nails can grow dry and brittle. Many seniors have poor circulation, and this can slow the healing of foot sores.
For this reason, the OSC hosts foot clinics several times per month with funds provided by the Christian County Senior Tax Fund.

Meals

No matter your age, good nutrition is essential for good health.

We strive to provide quality lunches in a relaxed and fun environment where you will be welcomed by caring staff, volunteers

and individuals. Persons 60 and older may enjoy lunch in our dining room, regardless of their ability to contribute; however,

we encourage contributions to help fund the program.

For seniors living in Eastern Christian County who are homebound and  no longer able  to attend the center, we offer home delivered meals delivered by caring volunteers.

Transportation

Helping The Community Seniors

Access to transportation is key to support the health and well-being of older adults and ensure their ability to age in place in the community. We provide access to essential shopping destinations, doctor visits, and to our Senior Center for socialization, meals and programs.
At the Ozark Senior Center, we are dedicated to helping the Eastern Christian County Seniors with their transportation needs. With the help of the Christian County Senior Tax Fund we are always striving to make a difference in the community and invite you to learn more.
